Who you'll meet...

The people: As a small kennel you'll mostly meet the founders of Nordlipolar, Martine and Henrik. We're two fairly normal people dreaming about an unusual everyday life filled with paws and fur. We've been dog sledding for over half a decade. We've got many years of arctic outdoor experiences both with and without dogs. We live for adventures, the people we meet, the typical Northern Norwegian and of course all of our fluffy friends.

The dog team: Our leader dogs Qanik and Sid were born at our kennel back in 2020. Since then, they've joined every adventure with us, leading our pack through any winter conditions. We're a mixed team of greenland dogs, siberian huskies, alaskan huskies and polardog mixes. They all love people and hot dogs very much!

Sustainable adventures

Every tour is created to be sustainable for our local community, our dog team and the nature we grew up in. Guiding small groups away from the most visited places is a conscious choice.

At Nordlipolar sustainable dog care is the heart of what we do. Booking with us, you can be confident that every dog recieves the care and attention needed for a good life - not only during the sledding season, but all year around.

By choosing us, you help us support our local community, leave no trace and protect the nature. Higher quality experiences ensure both animal welfare and truly meaningful adventures for our guests.
